Garelli was founded in Kensington in 2009 to sell fewer houses, and to sell them better.

Our story
Eleanor Hart opened the first office on Aldersey Walk with one colleague and a rule that still holds: no partner takes on more houses than they can show in person. The agency has grown to four partners since, but the office has not moved, and the rule has not changed.
We work mainly in Kensington, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Belgravia, Marylebone, Hampstead and Highgate. Most of our houses are period buildings, some are listed, and a few are new houses by architects we admire. What they share is that they reward a careful look.
That is how we present them. Every house is photographed in daylight, drawn floor by floor and written about at length, so that buyers arrive at a viewing already knowing the house, and owners know that it has been understood.

Eleanor Hart
Founding Partner, Kensington
Eleanor founded the Kensington office in 2009 after a decade at a Mayfair auction house, where she valued furniture before she valued houses. She still reads a house the same way: by how it was made and how it has been kept.

Thomas Avery
Partner, Notting Hill & Holland Park
Thomas grew up on the Ladbroke Estate and has sold houses on its crescents for fifteen years. He knows which gardens get the evening sun and which basements flood, and he will tell you both.

Clara Okafor
Partner, Hampstead & Highgate
Clara trained as an architect before moving into private sales. She looks after Hampstead and Highgate, where the houses are older, the gardens larger and the buyers rarely in a hurry.

Henry Lisle
Partner, Chelsea, Belgravia & Marylebone
Henry handles the firm’s houses south of the park, from mews in Belgravia to penthouses in Marylebone. Before joining Garelli in 2018 he spent six years restoring listed buildings for a private estate.
